What Bayern Leverkusen Coach Said About Kai Harvetz

Beyern Leverkusen Coach Peter Bosz has confirmed Kai Harvetz will no longer train with the club ahead of his proposed move to Chelsea.

Harvetz is expected to join Chelsea in the coming days after the blues reached an agreement with Leverkusen last week. The deal will see Chelsea pay €80m upfront and €20m add ons that will see Harvetz become the most expensive German Footballer.

Leverkusen Coach in a press conference today then revealed Harvetz will leave the club and won’t train with them again and he expects some other players to also depart the club

Here’s his statement below.

Bosz: “Volland and the national players didn’t participate today. Bailey also wasn’t there. Unfortunately our squad isn’t set yet. I don’t expect Volland and Havertz to train with us again. It’s possible more players will transfer. We definitely still have to add some players.”

“As a coach, it would be great if the squad was complete at the start of preseason, but these days that’s hardly ever the case. Much has changed due to Coronavirus and that makes things more complex. It’s my responsibility as a coach to deal with it.”

Leverkusen Kelvin Volland is expected to Join Monaco in the coming days.

Harvetz will become Chelsea 6th Signing of the summer after the arrivals of Timo Werner, Hakem Ziyech, Tiago Silva, Ben Chilwell and Malang Sarr.

Chelsea are also expected to be in the market for a new Goalkeeper with Kepa Arrizabalaga surplus expected to depart the club.

Chelsea have already had a bid rejected for Rennes goalkeeper and the Blues are also monitoring the situation of Athletico Madrid Goalkeeper Jan Oblak
