The German international has likely played his last game for Leverkusen following their Europa League exit at the hands of Inter Milan last night.
Havertz scored his side’s goal in a 2-1 defeat and it looks like he’ll be at Stamford Bridge next season.

But Bosz decided to poke fun at the speculation last night and he joked: “Yes, I can exclusively announce he’ll play for Heracles Almelo.”

Bosz used to manage the
outfit and they seemed to get excited with the transfer themselves – announcing the 21-year-old on social media.
The photoshop is a quality effort.
Bosz 🗣”I can confirm that next season Kai Havertz will play for Heracles Almelo! 🇳🇱

“We know of the interest of a couple of clubs, especially Chelsea, but for us, the situation is quite simple – he has a two-year contract, if anyone wants him on our terms, fine, otherwise he stays here another year and we are happy,” Voller said.
“It won’t be easy, but for an
like him there is no COVID discount.
“For me, he’s the best I’ve seen at Leverkusen, and I’ve been here for a lifetime. We had Emerson, [Michael] Ballack, Ze Roberto, [Toni] Kroos, but he’s on top.”
Blues boss Frank Lampard is a big fan of Havertz and the club want to make him one of their highest earners.

Summer arrival Timo Werner occupies top spot but national teammate Havertz will join the top five.
Werner’s wages are around £170,000 per week while Havertz could earn up to £140,000 per week.
Fellow new signing Hakim Ziyech is expected to double his Ajax wages which takes him up to £100,000 per week.
Do you think Kai Havertz will be a good signing for Chelsea?
