Chelsea Star Ben Chilwell Trains At Cobham For The First Time In Chelsea Colours

Today Chelsea new signing had a personal training session with a coach at the Cobham training complex in London.

The 23 year old star who was signed in a 50million Euro deal from fellow league rivals Leicester has been injured for more than one month now.

The left back was not called up to the English national team by Gareth Southgate because of the injury and it seems like he is getting back to full fitness.

Chelsea manager bought the young defender to provide cover for his leaky defense and also replace the long departed Chelsea legend Ashley Cole. Chilwell was previously linked with a move to Manchester with Pep Guardiola thought to be interested in a move for the former Leicester ace but Frank Lampard would be pleased that he chose Chelsea over Manchester City.

Chelsea will begin their English Premier league campaign on the 14th of September against Brighton and Hove Albions but it’s not likely that Ben Chilwell will make his debut for the club in that game. Fellow new signing, Timo Werner is already with the German national team in Stuttgart preparing for the games against Spain and Switzerland at the Euro Nations league.
